We asked several camgirls to share their revenue. None of these camgirls worked for a studio.
In 2018, we observed that an independent LiveJasmin camgirl could earn $4,000 per month. She achieved this by being online six days a week, eight hours a day. This was the highest revenue I had heard of at the time. To reach this level, she was fluent in both English and French. She performed sex shows involving sex toys and specialized in fetishes such as BDSM, small penis humiliation, sexual domination, and financial domination. Additionally, she actively engaged with guests in public chat rooms.
We also met a CamContacts camgirl who earned $1,000 per month by working five or six days a week, five hours per day on ImLive. She never activated her public chat room on ImLive but performed live sex shows with a sex toy and appeared naked on webcam.
Later, I met a camgirl from CamContacts who earned $800 per month by working six days a week, every morning (European time), on CamContacts. She performed stripteases but did not use a sex toy.
Conclusion
There are significant disparities in revenue among camgirls. Many factors must be taken into account, including the number of shows they perform and the amount of time they spend online. Some clients expect a sex show, while others value a camgirl’s ability to understand English well enough to hold a conversation. We found that to earn a substantial income, camgirls need to stay online for extended periods, speak English fluently, and cater to a wide range of sexual fetishes or role-plays.
